Il s'agit d'un coin de nature pris sur le vif lors d'une session de peinture. L'étang de Paimpont se trouve près de mon village breton où je travaille en tant peintre. Ici, je me suis positionné au bord de l'étang. Pour l'anecdote, c'est l'une des premières fois où j'expérimentais la complexité et la cohérence de ma palette de couleurs dans une unité qui n'a cessée de se perfectionner par la suite. Je me souviens de l'émotion forte que j'avais ressenti ce jour-là en réalisant ce tableau.

This is a piece of nature captured on the spot during a painting session. The Paimpont pond is located near my Breton village where I work as a painter. Here, I positioned myself at the edge of the pond. As an anecdote, it was one of the first times I experimented with the complexity and coherence of my color palette in a unity that has continued to improve since then. I remember the strong emotion I felt that day while creating this painting.
