BackSOLITUDES
Everything begins and ends with childhood. I would like my art to allow me to rediscover my lost innocence and above all this feeling of pure and simple life, of truth and power in simplicity. This series of paintings is composed of a series of twelve scores that retrace the paths of art and life that I have taken and that lead from my lost childhood to my childhood gradually rediscovered thanks to painting. Each of the scores evokes an experience that is part of a constantly evolving interior1

This series of paintings is composed of a series of twelve scores that retrace the paths of art and life that I have taken and that lead from my lost childhood to my childhood gradually rediscovered thanks to painting. Each of the scores evokes an experience that is part of a constantly evolving interior space and a process of artistic maturation.
It is a long, solitary, personal and progressive journey through the inner pictorial imagination, the exploration of which began in my adolescence and which I recently completed by becoming fully aware of who I was as a painter and what this implied on a personal level. If I gave it the name "Solitudes" it is because it is in moments of solitude that this space has developed and enriched within me. In short, "Solitudes" speaks of the construction and transformation of my artistic work and suggests my identity as a painter.
