À travers cette oeuvre, j'aborde à ma façon la question épineuse des choix de support, de couleur et d'interprétation pour lesquels je dois opter au moment de me mettre au travail. Si ce dont je cherche à exprimer est toujours déjà bien défini au préalable dans mon esprit, toute l'énergie de mon travail artistique est tendue vers une direction qui va s'actualiser dans l'acte de peindre. Le tableau est toujours le résultat d'une tension intérieure, parfois difficile à soutenir car elle nécessite une parfaite union entre ma main et mon esprit. La querelle des zèbres n'est rien moins que la représentation de cette tension intérieure qui habite mes créations artistiques, la métaphore du dialogue intérieur et intériorisé de ma main avec mon esprit.

Through this work, I address in my own way the thorny question of the choices of support, color and interpretation that I must opt ​​for when starting to work. If what I seek to express is always already well defined in my mind, all the energy of my artistic work is stretched towards a direction that will be actualized in the act of painting. The painting is always the result of an inner tension, sometimes difficult to sustain because it requires a perfect union between my hand and my mind. The quarrel of the zebras is nothing less than the representation of this inner tension that inhabits my artistic creations, the metaphor of the inner and internalized dialogue of my hand with my mind.
